Fear of clowns rationally EXPLAINED!… by Fionn Aged 13.
there is even a real word for it!
Clowns scare the heck out of me.
Its because their big painted smiles are all weird
when they are frowning they are still smiling
smiling with their mouth and the rest of their faces are normal!
That means i can’t read their faces
so i don’t trust them!
YESTERDAY THE CLOWN DOCTORS WERE VISITING OUR WARD
i was not excited…i was nervous.
the last time i saw them i was in Musgrave Park Hospital
and i was really scared when they came close!
Yesterday – a man waved at the door, and i waved back…
oops…i realised who it was and i said “Oh Christ!”
okay this picture mum took, shows that i wasn’t THAT comfortable with it
plus i thought it would be a bit babyish
but they had jokes and a bit of craic for my age too!
dad took this pic.
the guy on the ground with the bald head was really funny.
he had a sense of humour like me.
he was an even bigger Doctor Who freak than me!
Their faces weren’t painted so i got a wee bit more relaxed.
I even started telling them a few cool jokes!.
one guy wasn’t really my type of funny so when he tried a joke i managed to keep a straght face
cos i couldnt really pretend i got him.
the other fella GOT ME
he made me really LAUGH!
gradually it actually was really fun
real cheesy humour but fun.
and by the time they were leaving,
i wanted them to stay!
we even tried to cool up the one who wasn’t so funny:)
they managed to get closer.
i was ok with it!
